Abstract
急性期病院の相違による回復期リハ病棟入院脳卒中患者の調査をし，回復期リハ病棟のあり方を検証する．2004年1月～2005年12月に当院回復期リハ病棟を退院した脳卒中患者314名を対象とした．対象患者を急性期病院の相違により地域完結群及び病院完結群と2群に分け，発症からの入棟までの期間，全入棟期間，転帰，発症～自宅退院までの期間を比較検討した．入棟までの期間及び発症～自宅退院までの期間が地域完結群で有意に期間を要した．全入棟期間及び転帰は両群間で有意な差はなかった．入棟までの期間及び発症～自宅退院までの期間が病院完結型でともに有意に短縮できた要因としては，急性期からの医療の継続が得られること，より近隣地域で医療の完結が図れることなどが考えられる．リハ医療の質の向上を考える上では，病院完結型の回復期リハ病棟を再認識すべきと考える．
