Abstract

Recent experimental results on the dependence of the stripe domain lattice ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) on the orientation of the high-frequency (hf) magnetic field with respect to the stripe domains are reported. With the hf magnetic field rotated in the film plane from perpendicular to the stripe domains to parallel to them, the resonance absorption peak of the stripe domain mode was split into two subpeaks whose resonance frequencies and separation change continuously. This result could not be described in terms of the present domain lattice FMR theory.
