Abstract

This paper investigates the problem of static output feedback stabilization for a class of uncertain discrete singular systems. Firstly, based on the stability criterion for the nominal discrete singular system, a sufficient condition for the existence of the static output feedback controller in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) with linear matrix equality (LME) constraint is established, which ensures that the resulting closed-loop system is admissible and strictly passive. Then, by using matrix orthogonal complement, we furthermore formulate the LMI with LME constraint as a strict LMI without any constraints, and a parameterized representation of the static output feedback control law is given by the feasible solution of the LMI. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
