Abstract

It was shown that strains, measured when martensitic transformation curves are constructed by a dilatometric method, can be used to calculate the magnitude of structural stresses of the first kind. Structural stresses produced in three different (with respect to chemical composition) silicocalcium modified cast irons with lamellar graphite were determined.
