Abstract

In this article, the Rayleigh-Exponential {Log Logistic} distribution has been proposed using T-X{Y} framework based on quantile function. Some reliability measures has been obtained. The proposed model is flexible as it exhibits monotone and non-monotone failure rate functions, which are quiet common in survival analysis. Also stress strength reliability for single and multicomponent system has been derived. The bias, mean square error and average confidence interval of R based on Maximum likelihood method has been obtained and its performance is studied through MonteCarlo simulation technique. Further the usefulness of proposed model is demonstrated by comparing the results with the some already known distribution.
