Abstract

The procedure to determine the physical and mechanical characteristics of the anisotropic material with one plane of elastic symmetry has been proposed. Based on the classical theory of elasticity of the anisotropic body the thermoelastic stress state of the multilayered sealing ring of the centrifugal pump rotor wheel made of composite material is studied under thermal exposure with the specified physical and mechanical characteristics. Kinematic and static conditions of the contact between neighboring layers along the conjugated face fronts are considered to be ideal. It is noted that an increase of the temperature on the surface of the composite sealing ring has a considerable influence on the stress state.
