Abstract
The evolution of internal sub-structure during stress relaxation test complicates the estimation of rate dependent parameters. Some of the issues associated with the choice of appropriate model and its limitations are often ignored when inferring the results. In this paper, it is attempted to summarize the challenges present in modelling and interpreting the stress relaxation data.
