Summary

Introduction

With increasing scale of tunnel constructions in mining and transport engineering, a series of tunnel accidents have been exposed, such as rock burst and roof fall. Cracks in rock mass are closed in general, and crack surface friction will affect crack tip SIFs significantly; it should be considered in the study of cracks under compression.[21,22,23,24] The tunnel is inside an infinite plane, and the corresponding complex stress function can be obtained based on the stress conditions of crack surfaces.
