Abstract

Explicit solution of the magnetoelastic problem on the stress-strain state of the transversally-isotropic ferromagnetic body, which contains the elliptical crack in the isotropy plane, is obtained. It is assumed, that the body is subjected to the action of the external magnetic field, perpendicular to the plane of the isotropy. Under the magnetic field action the elastic deformations and the inducted magnetic field appears in the body. The main characteristics of the stress-strain state and the inducted magnetic field are determined and their particularities in the vicinity of the elliptic crack are investigated. Formulas for the stress intensity factors of the force and magnetic field near the crack top are given.
