Abstract
Adhesive bonded joints with laminated FRP composites play a significant role in many structural applications especially in space, aircraft and automobile industries. In any structure, a joint is the weaker area and most failures originate from joints. Joints are usually avoided in a structure as good design policy. The most common type of joint is a single lap joint where in the load is transferred from one substrate to another by shear stresses in the adhesive. The work aims at detail Mathematical, FEM analysis and experimental analysis of adhesive joint. The following are the main objectives of the work. Whatever the literature we have studied, in that we have found that the adhesive testing of material joint were done by only FEA and Analytical testing of joints. As if we validate any result using experimental analysis then we can get better result and we can conclude any result as confirmative on the basis of experimental result. Whatever the literature we have studied in that we have found that adhesive testing is done on metal plate but the FRP material are the most suitable alternative in varies way to traditional material. Due to its characteristics and light weight it’s become popular so this material should select. In this work we are going to make the validation of joint of E- glass plates (coated with resins, cobalt and hardener) by comparing the experimental, FEA and analytical results
