Abstract

This article discusses modern methods for calculating various methods for checking the bearing capacity of a beam after its strengthening in a multi-story commercial building (on the example of the Al-Salam Commercial complex), located at the address: Iraq, Ramadi, St. Alcinama. The building was damaged by the war, necessitating a study to determine the best and most cost-effective way to strengthen concrete beams using carbon fiber composite materials as the external strengthening. Based on the data obtained as a result of the strength assessment, recommendations were given on the method of strengthening reinforced concrete beams.
