Abstract

The article considers the engineering calculation for proving the need to reinforce concrete bent beams, and it is also proposed a method for reinforcement concrete bent beams by external reinforcement with carbon fiber materials, presented destruction models of reinforced concrete beams that was obtained experimentally. The effectiveness of this reinforcement type with fiber composite materials on the beams bearing capacity is evaluated. Experimental data on the strength and deformability of bending reinforced concrete beams reinforced with carbon-based material were obtained from the results of the studies, the effect of various reinforcement schemes of bending reinforced concrete beams was experimentally proved using carbon fiber bandages, the destruction capacity of concrete beams reinforced with carbon fiber was obtained and analyzed. Considering the experience of using this reinforcement technology abroad, it can be said confidently that composite materials reinforced with fiber composite materials will be in leading places in Russia in the near future.
