Abstract

Organisations are creating or amassing increasingly huge quantities of data, much of which can be classed as personally identifiable information (PII). Any leak of this information can be disastrous – both for the organisation and the people to whom the data relates. Organisations need to reconsider what information they are storing and how they safeguard it.
