Abstract

• Target double norfloxacin or ciprofloxacin scaffolds included compounds were synthesized. • The formed organic adsorption layers of the target compounds on copper surface were demonstrated. • The organic adsorption layers displayed super resistance effect on Chlorella and E. coli as well as corrosion. New double antibotic skeleton-based branched target molecules were synthesized and purified under mild conditions, which could be efficiently adsorbed on copper surface by the strong chemistry chelation interaction between the target molecules and metal atoms. It was firstly demonstrated that the organic adsorption films of the target compounds on copper surface displayed super inhibition effects on biofouling as well as corrosion in aqueous media.
