Abstract

According to rapid growth of urbanization progress level, more capacity and higher speed becomes new demand for urban metro, and new requirements put forward for bogie frame is high speed and heavy load. Meanwhile, bogie frame is the main load bearing part of metro vehicle, the strength analysis is very important in the design process. Based on the requirements, this paper designs a kind of bogie frame of high speed and heavy load. The strength simulation analysis of frame was done by ANSYS software, and the result shows the stress of all components meet the requirements. Lastly, we did the static strength test and 10 million times fatigue test after the frame manufactured. The result shows there are no cracks found on base metal and welding lines, the frame body strength meets the standard requirements.
