Abstract

Concrete is an excellent material for creating a wide range of load-bearing solid structures. Concrete is the second-most consumed resource in the world as a result of the ongoing depletion of natural resources and certain environmental issues. River sand is constantly being reduced, which affects the groundwater table because it is primarily used as a fine aggregate in concrete. Because of these factors, looking for alternative concrete materials is essential. Copper production leaves behind a sizable am looking for alternative concrete materials is an essential problem, Alternative sources for this waste material are required by environmental protection agencies and governments. As a result, an effort is made to partially replace fine aggregate in the construction industry with copper slag. The current paper examines the laboratory testing of various concrete mixes (Mix20, Mix40, and Mix60) containing copper slag waste as a partial replacement for fine aggregate (0% to 100%). The fresh properties and mechanical properties of the concrete mixes were assessed.
