Abstract

Based on the analysis of the structure and force characteristics of the composite tube, the feasibility of the finite element model is verified by conducting a quasi-static hydrostatic test on the new composite body tube combining carbon fiber composite material and metal lining, and comparing the ABAQUS finite element simulation to simulate the gradual damage and failure of the composite cylinder under hydraulic load. Based on the verified finite element model, the influence of single-angle spiral padding and multi-angle gradient spiral alternating padding on the pressure-bearing performance of composite tube is deeply explored, and the numerical analysis results show that the multi-angle gradient spiral lay-up method can make the composite tube show better performance. Based on the premise of this ply method, the univariate method was used to study the influence of carbon fiber grade on the pressure bearing performance of composite tube.
