Abstract

summary Muscular dystrophy (MD) is a muscular-skeletal disease that may severally limit a person's functional capabilities. The use of conditioning exercise in persons with MD may delay the loss of muscle function. In particular, resistance training could have extremely favorable advantages for individuals with MD.
