Abstract
India is quickly on its way to become a potential superpower and economic center. However, if a big number of women participate in the development process, this goal can be met even faster. Modern women in India have gained positions of power such as President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Lok Sabha, and also in the fields of aeronautics, military, IPS, IAS, and so on. Even today, women have attained top positions in the workplace and in society, but they face issues such as physical abuse and sexual misconduct. If the number of cases of abuse and rapes against women rises, the question of protection for those women becomes even compelling. As a result, it is critical to create something to guarantee security to woman. This is the reason of introducing STREE AATMANIRBHARATA JACKET. The basic mechanism is, whenever a woman is in danger or feels unsafe, she can press the button attached to our jacket. The moment the button is pressed, a message is sent to the number that she has set as emergency contact. Simultaneously, the pins attached to the jacket will come into action so that she can defend herself, until she finds a rescue. In addition to this LED lights will blink and alarm will ring so that the nearby people are aware and help her. Such a technique isn’t available in the market till date, which is the need of the hour, so that the woman does not feel helpless and can defend herself.
