Abstract

Polish foreign policy divides into eastern, western, northern, and southern one. Such a division enables the decisions, which, at the moment, are a priority for the state and affect the determination of the essential objectives and measures for their implementation. The primary objective of Polish foreign policy is to maintain state independence and state development. Achieving this goal is possible by identifying threats and creating methods for their elimination (it is possible with the help of alliance of own power and allied forces). Very often, both the threats and the allies assign to specific geographical directions. Effective foreign policy should on the one hand to have coherent ultimate goals, and on the other hand to vary according to its geographical vectors.
