Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the availability of the requirements of the agricultural knowledge system in the agricultural extension system and the extent of the application of the agricultural knowledge management processes and the extent of the implementation of the staff of the guidance system for their administrative tasks and study the relationship between the proposed model of knowledge management in the agricultural extension and identification system On problems facing the activation of agricultural knowledge management in the agricultural extension system and highlighting the most important proposals for the development. The study was conducted in the governorate of Menoufia, and sample single 218 was collected. The results indicated that the availability of knowledge management requirements contributes to the interpretation of variance in the application of knowledge management processes by 24,9%. And the availability of knowledge management contribution to the interpretation of variation in the implementation of administrative tasks. It is also the percentage of the contribution of organizational culture in the interpretation of the variance in the application of knowledge management processes 16,2%. And the availability of the human component, its contribution to the interpretation of variation in the application of knowledge management processes is 13,5%. The availability of infrastructure as an independent variable in the interpretation of variance in the application of knowledge management processes was 18,7%. The availability of the knowledge management strategy contributes to the interpretation of the variance in the application of knowledge management processes to 21,3%. The results revealed that the most common problems facing the application of knowledge management were the lack of support and commitment from the senior management and the lack of skills related to the management of knowledge among extension workers. The respondents suggested that in order to implement knowledge management in the guidance system, the number of seminars and training programs for mentors should be increased, In order to encourage the improvement of performance.
