Abstract
SAP AG integrated the balanced scorecard methodology into its SAP Strategic Enterprise Management (SAP SEM®). Based on the inadequacies of performance management systems the basic conditions as well as the variety of analysis are illustrated. The module SAP Balanced Scorecard is described in detail. Finally, the implementation process of the balanced scorecard concept in context of enterprise management is discussed.
