Abstract

This study explores the crucial functions of systems analysts, highlighting their tasks in pinpointing business issues, overseeing project initiation, and leading the creation and refinement of information systems. Central to this comprehensive role is the complex task of defining system necessities. The objective of this paper is to thoroughly examine various approaches or strategies for identifying these requirements, alongside an in-depth investigation into the methods used for selecting strategic projects.
