Abstract

The study investigated the challenges and strategies adopted by lecturers in post COVID 19 pandemic foreffective teaching of entrepreneurship in food and Nutrition in tertiary institutions, Niger state. Twoobjectives and two research questions guided the study. The design adopted for the study was descriptivesurvey. The population for the study comprises twenty (20) lecturers in the two tertiary institutions in NigerState offering Home Economics as a programme. Due to the-manageable size of the population there wasno sampling. The instrument for data collection was a well- structured questionnaire. The data collectedwere analyzed using mean score and standard deviation. From the data collected and analyzed' the studyfindings include, attitudinal issues with students concerning teaching and learning of entrepreneurship infood and Nutrition, the study therefore recommends that modern technologies should be deployed tostimulate students' interests among others in effective teaching of entrepreneurship in Food and Nutrition.
