Abstract
This article deals with the design and development of the learning-evaluation process for the acquisition of competences in the course “Institutions of the European Union”, First Year of the Law Degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Academic year 2010-2011. After some general considerations about the methodology inspiring the new Study Plan for the Law Degree in this University, the article shows the object, instrumentation and outcome of two teaching innovation projects of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid carried out by a team of teachers of Administrative Law .The object of these projects is the improvement of strategic planning and tasks design and evaluation through two interconnected instruments, the student guide of the course and the moodle platform, that allows for virtual interaction along the teaching-learning process. The article concludes with a critical reflection on the teaching and learning experience.
