Abstract

The article is devoted to research of competitiveness as a priority of economic factor for functioning of enterprises in a changing external environment. The factors of reduction and promotion of competitiveness of the enterprise are analyzed, taking into account the competitive advantages of the organization. Attention is paid to the methods of analysis of competitive advantages, which allow to measure and forecast the competitiveness of enterprises, to study the most favorable directions of its increase. The purpose of the article is to study the possibilities of increasing the competitiveness of industrial enterprises in conditions of implementation of strategies for their development. Methodology. Methodological basis of the research were general scientific, special and statistical methods of economic research. The monographic method, the method of logical generalization and system analysis were used. Results. The factors of reduction and promotion of competitiveness of the enterprise are analyzed, taking into account the competitive advantages of the organization. It is determined that it is necessary to apply methods of analysis of competitive advantages, which allow to measure and forecast the competitiveness of enterprises, to study the most advantageous directions of its increase. Practical meaning. The proposed methodology for assessing the level of competitiveness of enterprises can be implemented by enterprises to improve the level of competitiveness, because it is a simple and universal tool for assessing the effectiveness of economic activity. Prospects for further research. On the basis of the conducted research the relevance of this topic in the changing market conditions has been determined. Further research will be devoted to improving and implementing the methodology for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises.
