Abstract

Kuta tourism village is a tourism village in Central Lombok Regency with the advantage of being close to the KEK Mandalika Resort and has local potential that can be an attraction for tourists. The existence of this tourist village becomes an opportunity for residents to provide homestay for tourists. In addition to being offered accommodation, homestays also become new business opportunities for the people. The development of homestay is only used by certain groups so it requires research to know more about homestay conditions in Kuta Tourism Village.Therefore, this study aims to analyze the development of homestay in Kuta Tourism Village using SWOT Analysis which will produce strategy & Program development well. The research method used in this research is qualitative method with the method of collecting data is in depth interview. The results of this study will illustrate the development of homestay program seen from Homestay development strategy by Local people in Desa Kuta - Central Lombok. Homestay in Kuta Village is managed by Groups of Local Comunities. Institutional and perpetrators of this homestay program produce the products offered as attractions that become the reason tourists to come in the form homestay houses and activities that become tourist attractions. The results of this analysis will be the basis of strategies, programs and advice on the development of existing homestay in the village of Kuta - Central Lombok.
