Abstract

Results are presented of a preliminary study of strain amplitude- dependent damping effects in 2-MeV electron-irradiated high-purity, polycrystalline niobium. Damping behavior was initially examined before and after irradiation at low temperature (18$sup 0$K), and following an isochronal anneal in steps for temperatures through resistivity recovery Stage 1 to 35$sup 0$K.
