Research Article| October 01 2003 Straightening Things Out: The Use of Strait and Straight in the Book of Mormon Paul Y. Hoskisson Paul Y. Hoskisson Paul Y. Hoskisson, professor of ancient scripture, has taught religion at Brigham Young University for 23 years. He did his graduate work at Brandeis University in Assyriology, with an emphasis in ancient Semitic philology. The fruits of his work on the FARMS Book of Mormon onomasticon project have appeared several times in this journal.
