Abstract
This article attempts to define the specific position of Stéphane Bouquet (whose first collection was published in 2000) in contemporary French poetry, more particularly his attempt to merge various tendencies that seem antagonistic in this field. It tackles the particular themes of Bouquet's poetry (linked with gay culture) and focuses on the persistent hesitation between two languages, French and English.
