Abstract
Using stories of nursing-involved situations is a powerful strategy for leaders to engage with their team members around their shared discipline. An environment conducive to storytelling facilitates the continuing engagement of members of the nursing staff in the human connection of caring in nursing. This article shares the story of a nursing-involved situation lived by several nurse leaders and interprets the situation in terms of caring creative leadership.
