Abstract

In the article the author reveals the factors of the relevance of Storytelling as a communication trend. The author considers the expediency of using Storytelling as a method of teaching all school subjects and education with the prospect of prolongation at universities. The article defines the definition of storytelling. The author describes the essence of storytelling and tracks the story of the emergence of storytelling as a commercial method (from David Armstrong to the present day). The author also reveals the advantages and potential of storytelling in the field of business and communications.According to the results of the analysis of the scientific works of many researchers, the author concludes that it is necessary to study various aspects of storytelling – from commercial to value. In addition, many storytelling problems are not sufficiently explored in native pedagogy. The urgent need is to develop scientific bases and algorithms for the introduction of storytelling as a promising method of teaching all subjects in the Ukrainian school. Storytelling has a significant potential for the upbringing of future Ukrainian citizens.The author put forward many arguments proving the expediency of using the term “storytelling” in the Ukrainian language in the language from which it was borrowed. By revealing the features and possibilities of using the storytelling method, the author argues that this method has the applied value and educational potential.His thoughts on the effectiveness of this method are reinforced by concrete examples of various subjects in the school curriculum. The article also gives examples of educational tasks that can be solved by the teacher using the method of storytelling.In the article you can read about not only the features of storytelling, but also about the differences between different types of this method. Characterized by storytelling, types of stories, describes the role of headings and subtitles of such stories, which helps to reveal the contents of stories. The author described the types of storytelling, classifying them in terms of content, structure and structural components. Different variants of story deployment are offered. The attention is paid to various techniques for creating and narrating stories. In this context, the author attempts to determine the specifics of the Ukrainian version of storytelling.The author presents methodological tips for creating stories, offers ways to publish these stories. The article contains the conclusions and perspectives of studying the problems of storytelling.
