Abstract
We demonstrate an all-optical regenerative memory in which a variable threshold level for optical pulse storage can be predetermined. Only optical pulses with amplitudes above the threshold level are stored and their amplitudes are equalised by the sequential transfer function of the concatenated nonlinear optical switching gates.
