Abstract

Adult stoneflies (Perlidae) collected in Brazilian Amazonia were studied. Four known species of the genus Anacroneuria were found, A. blanca Stark 1995, A. manauensis Ribeiro-Ferreira 2001, A. marlieri Froehlich 2001 and A. pastaza Stark 2001. One new species, A. fittkaui sp. n., is described. The females of the original description of A. marlieri belong to another new species, A. amazonica sp. n. A new species of Macrogynoplax, M. marauia sp. n., is also described, and a key for the genus is presented.
