Abstract

Young children in early childcare centers (ECCs) are uniquely vulnerable to anaphylaxis and other effects of food allergy. Despite epinephrine being widely available in the US and it being the treatment for anaphylaxis, not all ECCs have the needed legislative protections to have stock epinephrine. We sought to examine the state of legislation pertaining to stock epinephrine in ECCs.
