Abstract

This paper studies the stochastic user equilibrium (SUE) assignment model in which travelers are assumed to have not the perfect knowledge of the traffic system. It is shown that the stochastic properties of this model depends on the calibration parameter completely. After giving the searching method of “efficient paths” set, a combined algorithm for solving and calibrating the model is developed. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the model’s properties and algorithm’s efficiencies.
