Abstract

We study stochastic regularization as applied to Yang-Mills theory. A perturbative computation to one loop shows that either the regularization is incomplete and some divergences remain or gauge invariance and BRS invariance are destroyed. These two situations arise for the gauge invariant and gauge fixed Langevin equations respectively.
