Abstract

Radar high resolution imaging is a research hotspot in resent years. With the development of the radar imaging systems, stochastic radiation radar (SRR) is appeared, which transmits stochastic signals to form the stochastic radiation field and increases the target observation information to achieve high resolution imaging. However, the generation of stochastic radiation field has always been the core of stochastic radiation imaging system. In this paper, a two-dimensional (2-D) amplitude-phase orthogonal distribution (APOD) method is proposed to improve the non-correlation of the radiation field for stochastic radiation imaging. The method mainly uses the spatial and time relationship of the array transmitting antennas to generate the orthogonal stochastic amplitude and phase and configures the parameters into the radiation array elements to improve the non-correlation of the spatial-time stochastic radiation field. The simulation results have verified the effectiveness of the method for the radiation field. The imaging performance is compared to describe the improvement of the resolution.
