Abstract
We show that non-renormalizable theories are compatible with stochastic quantization (i.e. with an underlying stochastic dynamics), even if one chooses to include the radiative corrections and renormalize before taking the limit of infinite fictitious time. However the required Langevin equation will then depend on an infinite number of stochastic sources, rather than a finite number as in renormalizable theories. This is a reflection of the fact that one requires an infinite number of parameters to describe a nonrenormalizable theory at the quantum level.
