Abstract

In this paper, we introduce and prove a stochastic version of backward Bihari inequality. Our method uses the martingale representation theorem and Meyer-Itô formula for convex functions to prove the main inequality. As an application, we prove a new existence and uniqueness result for backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) with superlinear-quadratic growth coefficients.
