Abstract
The object of this paper deals with several reliability characteristic of interest of a two-unit system with a warm standby and two switches devices. One switch is used to put the shandby unit into operation, while the other is used to shift a failed unit into the repair facility. Switches may be found failed at the time of need. The failure times, the repair times of the main unit, standby unit and of the two switches are assumed to be arbitrarily distributed. Some previous results are derived from this work as special cases.
