Abstract

Fan etal. use electrical stimulation during a novel social interaction paradigm to demonstrate a role for the orbitofrontal cortex in directing social attention. Their results shed new light on the basic functions of the orbitofrontal cortex and have translational value in understanding circuit modulation for psychiatric disorders.
