Abstract

Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) processes are investigated in solid hydrogen in the strong-coupling regime. We show that multi-order SRS processes in solid hydrogen are governed by the anti-phased state coherence, and that the coherence reveals an extremely slow dephasing which may give a concrete basis on the strongly-coupled nonlinear optics using solid hydrogen.
