Still Ashley Anna McHugh (bio) Pulled over on a gravel road,we looked through old binoculars to find the comet— a blur of light so still that when you joked that it would stay,I half believed you. Even now, with your hand in my hair, what wouldn’t I believe? Love, listen: there are lesser liesthan saying something beautiful might last a while longer than it will. That comet—lost in a sea of stars10 years ago. But I still think somewhere, above us, it’s steady in the dark.
