Abstract

The article is a reflective piece based on the author’s interest, when they were a trainee to explore the leadership journey of two ethnic minority clinical psychologists. The psychologists were asked specific questions aimed at considering leadership from the lens of race, culture and ethnicity. Despite the interviews having been conducted in 2018, the themes that emerged speak truth of the current realities of oppressive barriers present within the profession.
