Abstract

Steven R. Schwid, Associate Chair for Clinical Research in the Department of Neurology, co-director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center, and associate director of the Clinical Trials Coordination Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center, died on November 3 at age 44. He was an Associate Editor for Neurology ® from 2001 through 2006. More important than these titles, he was a wonderful man, dedicated equally to his family and colleagues; a supportive mentor; and possessor of a capacious sense of humor and of humanity.
