Abstract
In addition to known compounds, 24α-ethylcholesta-5,25-dien-3β-ol, sitosterol, α-amyrin, ursolic acid, apigenin, naringenin, pectolinarigenin and circiliol, two new steroidal compounds, 3β-hydroxystigmast-24(24 1),25-dien-24 2-al and 3β-hydroxy-24α-ethylcholesta-5,25-dien-7-one were isolated from the aerial parts of Teucrium chamaedrys subsp. chamaedrys.
