Abstract
Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) is an effective, non-invasive therapeutic modality for treatment of liver malignancies. We report the clinical outcome in 39 patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with SBRT at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Pathologic correlation of tumor response was available in those patients undergoing liver transplant (LT) or resection after SBRT.
