Abstract

AbstractHydrometallation reactions, for example, hydroboration and hydroalumination, on [1‐(trifluoromethyl)propargyl]amines lead stereoselectively to the corresponding [(Z)‐ and (E)‐1‐(trifluoromethyl)allyl]amines in good yields; (Z)‐ and (E)‐allylamines with a free amino group can be obtained in good yields and excellent enantioselectivities from the chiral propargylamines.(© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
