Abstract
Vergence eye movements are critical in daily routines. These movements navigate three-dimensional space. Convergence and divergence eye movements are used to create and maintain stereoscopic vision. This study investigates differences in vergence eye movements between the left and right eye movement. Eye movements were collected using a costume haploscope design paired with our stimulus-presentation software. The experimental design consists of four stimulus conditions from which convergence and divergence measures are derived. A multi-factorial ANOVA and correlation analyses are used to test for differences in the vergence measures. This study has the potential to highlight the asymmetry between left and right eye vergence movements in individuals while studying multiple stimulus conditions.
